Prof. Krzysztof Lukaszuk
Director and founder of INVICTA Fertility Clinics

Krzysztof Lukaszuk is a professor and lecturer at Medical University of Gdansk and the manager and co-founder of INVICTA Infertility Clinics. He is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and endocrinology, with over 12 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. He is particularly interested in the issues related to new diagnostic solutions and assisted reproductive techniques, preimplantation diagnosis and treatment of recurrent miscarriages.

Professor Lukaszuk is a precursor of many solutions in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility in Poland. Together with his scientific team, he was the first in the country to implement a number of infertility related methods and procedures including: IVM and ova freezing (2003.), vitrification (2005.), AMH test of ovarian reserve and sperm DNA fragmentation (2007.), sperm separation (2008.), ovarian tissue freezing for fertility preservation for oncological patients and restoration of hormonal functions in women of menopausal age (2009.), FAMSI – Functional fine, Acrosome activated, Morphologically selected Sperm Injection (2010.). Since 2005, he has also been carrying out preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD/PGS-NGS) projects. His work is helping couples that are carriers of inherited genetic diseases or chromosomal translocations by giving them a chance to have healthy offspring (so far INVICTA is the only center in Poland performing PGS-NGS tests).

He has authored numerous scientific lectures and publications. His articles have been published in, among others, Polish Gynecology, Polish Otolaryngology, Medical Review, Diagnostic Molecular Pathology, European Journal of Gynecological Oncology, Fertility and Sterility and Gynecologic Oncology.

Professor Łukaszuk is a member of Polish and international organizations for professionals dedicated to the practice of assisted reproductive medicine and emryology including European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Endocrine Society, Preimplantation Genetics Diagnosis, Polish Society of Human Genetics, and Polish Society of Andrology.
