After graduating from the Complutense Madrid University in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr. Marqueta decid­ed to dedicate his career to human reproduction. He is closely linked to the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF). He is the Co Ordinator for the National Clinical Activity Register and a mem­ber of the Ethical and Good Practice Group for SEF and the co founder of both the Balearic Infertility Institute (IBILAB) and the Neixer Foundation. He holds a Masters Degree in Assisted Reproduction from the Spanish Fertility Society and Oviedo University.


Dra. Margarita Torres Vives

Dr. Torres is a member of the Span­ish Society of Gynecology since 1992. She is the president of the Neixer Foundation for Reproductive Studies. Throughout her medical career, she has continued her studies and has participated in various courses and congresses. Among others, she has obtained the following diplomas: En­doscopie Operatoire in Gynecologie, Specialist Clinic Management, Master in Advanced Embryoscope Surgery and Gynaecology and Master in Bio Ethics. dr Jon Aizpurua

Dr Jon Aizpurua is the director of IVFSpain and a specialist in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology. He studied Human Medicine at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg in Germany and gained his professional expertise in Gynaecology and Obstetrics working for several clinics in both Germany and Spain.

After graduating in Medicine in Poland in 2002, Dr Natalia Szlarb carried out her residency in Gynaecology and Obstetrics in several German hospitals. During her studies she completed several international internships in Brazil, Egypt and Poland. She joined the IVFSpain international medical team in 2013.

Dr Szlarb understands that all patients are unique and therefore ensures she spends time explaining and exploring options, taking into account all aspects of their individual situation. Dr. Natalia Szlarb speaks fluent English, German, Polish and Russian.


dr Isabel Herrera

Dr. Isabel Herrera grew up in Columbia and finished her Medical degree in 1988 in the University Nacional Autónoma in Honduras. Afterwards she worked in different countries and clinics, amongst which: Honduras, Cameroon, Germany, Dominican Republic, India and Senegal. She can speak 5 languages.

In Spain she started to study and later work in the field of the Assisted Reproduction. Since 2012 she is working at IVFSpain, where she is able to fulfill her wish to help women getting pregnant. Patients love her for her friendliness and expertise.


Prof Dr José A. Horcajadas – Scientific Advisor

Dr Horcajadas currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Recombine Europe. He has extensive experience in reproductive genomics, especially in endometrial receptivity. He is a professor at the University Pablo Olavide in Seville and researcher at the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza. He was the initiator of Iviomics and its development for 10 years.

Dr Horcajadas was the first scientist appointed by the Spanish government to lead the preimplantation genetic diagnosis research programme. He has authored over 40 publications in major scientific journals, as well as 5 books and several chapters. He is one of the leading scientists in his area.

Dr Horcajadas has won several awards, among others Serono of Research 2004 and the Lalor Foundation of Boston, Massachusetts.


Prof Dr Miguel Hinrichsen – Medical Advisor

Prof Miguel Hinrichsen has studied Medicine at Buenos Aires University. After graduating in 1978 with a “summa cum laude” degree, he has worked and researched three years in the field of Reproductive Medicine. In Germany he specialised in Gynaecology at the Tübingen University Clinic for Women and at the first women clinic at the Louis Maximilian University in Munich in 1987 and later, in 1990, he specialised in the Gynaecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine.

Since 2003 he has dedicated his work in the field of Gynaecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine, after having attended the Harvard Medical School of Boston and the National University of North East of Corrientes in Argentina as a guest professor.

He has published several articles related to Reproductive Medicine and has organised numerous conferences. Until April 2011 he was the Executive Director of the largest group of reproductive medicine clinics in Germany.
